Following the outbreak of Covid in Israel, and the concern of a second wave, the Givat Haviva, Arab-Jewish Center for Peace, with the collaboration of the US embassy in Israel, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the I’lam Center, initiated an online video campaign starring Jewish and Arab medical personnel who have been fighting the virus side by side.

In these videos, the participants talk about how they feel; about the health system as a microcosm of shared social existence, regardless of faith, race, or gender.

They talk about how during the months of Covid, they felt unity and equality within the medical teams, expressing their hope that these values will continue to hold outside the hospital too.
